Dear all,
On an ill-fated evening of March 28th, 2010, Mrs. Shanti Sherchan was hit by a speeding car while she was crossing the Roswell Road in Atlanta, Georgia. She was immediately rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. She had to be admitted to Incentive Care Unit from which she has not been released.
She came from Nepal to visit her family in Georgia. According to her son, Nagesh Sherchan, the condition is highly critical and the current prognosis estimates the recovery may take a year or longer. She is currently in life support.
Nepali Association of Georgia (NAG) along with friends and families and Association of Nepalis in Americas (ANA) would like to appeal for your help on this time of crisis. We are in urgent need for monetary assistance for medical assistance and other logistical requirements. Let us demonstrate our solidarity one more time to help the family.
