Bhutanese youth, Dilli Ram Bhattarai, 28 years-old, Krishna Dhakal, 17 years-old and Krishna L. Dhital, 21 years-old, have been missing since Saturday, June 11th. They were last in contact with their friend Mr. Kul Kadaria in front of apartment complex at 1608 E. Mission Ave, Spokane, WA 99202. Bhattarai and Dhital are from Tukwila, WA and had traveled to Spokane, WA to visit family on June 11th morning. Dhakal is from Spokane.
Krishna Dhital, is 5’2” with olive skin, black hair and brown eyes and was wearing jeans and a white shirt at the time of his disappearance. Krishna Dhakal, is 5’3” with olive skin, black hair and brown eyes. Dilli Ram Bhattarai is 5’7” with olive skin, brown hair and brown eyes. The three were missing along with a black 2003 Acura with license plate 933ZGH,Vin # 19UUA56923A079897.
Bhattarai and Dhakal are cousins and Dhital is neighbor while in refugee camps in Nepal. Bhattarai is a father of 25 days girl. He was to work on Monday, the 13 th Jun. Dhital just graduated Foster High School, Tukwila, WA and Dhakal, tenth grader was to report to school after the weekend.
The families do not suspect any foul game in the disappearance.
The family reported their disappearances to the Tukwila and Spokane Police Department on afternoon of June 13th. The police have begun their investigation.
The families suspects that they might be in life threatening situations. Culturally, its very uncommon that these youths have ran out of family. Families requests security, media, refugee settlement agencies, schools and general public to help in the search. Families request security for the site search.
These young men have lived in Washington for two years, after spending 17 years in a refugee camp in Nepal, fleeing cultural persecution from Bhutan. The families are beside themselves with sorrow, and desperate to find their loved ones.
